1. Sunt un spirit nărăvaş

Şi-alerg mereu pe imaş

E liber, necultivat

Şi nu-s de nimeni certat

2. Pe el pot să-mi fac de cap

Şi-alerg întruna la trap

Pe imaş nu pot fi prins

Agăţat, nici chiar atins

3. Şi cu toţii se întreabă

De ce-alerg aşa în grabă

Pentru că-i imaşul meu

Şi fac numai ce vreau eu
